Moving to Step - 2: A Testimony

We had a really great LIFE Group on Sunday evening! The new material from Pastor Steve was so good. We did the session on “Made for More”. We enjoyed the comments and life transformation we witnessed in each person as they shared and were so excited about what the scriptures had to say about being a disciple of Christ!

I did challenge each of them that within less than a year, our group will need to multiply because of lack of space. I charged each of them that as they are growing in Christ, we cannot allow any one not to be in a healthy LIFE Group. I also told them that we will not “close” any of our LIFE Groups any more. I used the analogy that if we had people standing outside the door knocking to come in, we would surely not leave them outside in the cold. We would invite them in, even if it is a little crowded. That is okay.

One of the people said that thought made their heart beat fast with all the opportunities and that it was a little scary for them to be leaders. We all did agree that Christ will be the leader and work that all out through His people as we are open and are available to His leadership.
