A Note to Parents
Our desire is to support you in your parenting efforts by ministering to your children. We want to guide them into a personal relationship with Christ by modeling Christ, faithfully teaching God's Word, and nurturing them in God's love. We want to communicate the love of God to children by:

Providing a safe, accepting environment where all children feel loved and valued.
Being a partner with you in the spiritual nurturing of your son or daughter.
Providing caring, quality teachers whose lives model the lessons they teach.
Reaching out to children in God's love and teaching them God's truth.
Building a strong biblical foundation in an exciting, experiential, and relevant way.
Helping them gain a Christian perspective as they work through issues they face at home, at school, and with friends.
Encouraging a heart to minister and providing opportunities to use their gifts in ministry to others.

We want to make a difference in the lives of children by reaching out in effective and creative ways that communicate the love of God. At First Church, they'll feel welcomed and loved. It is a privilege to provide the variety of ministries we have, as an encouragement for children to draw close to the Savior.

Children's Life Groups
Children's Life Group Classes are offered for children ages 4 through 6th grade each Sunday morning. Our first session is for children 1st through 6th grade and starts at 8:30 a.m. The second session is for children ages 4 through kindergarten and starts at 10:30 a.m. Children are grouped by grade/age levels and meet in smaller classrooms. Life Groups provide a small group environment with a focus on Bible study, Scripture memorization, life application and building relationships. The lessons are designed to reinforce the values of the home, help children know Jesus, and guide them in daily living and growth in spiritual development.

Sunday Mornings for Grades 1 – 6
Sunday School – 8:30 am- Ministry Center, 2nd Floor
Kidz Church – 10:30 am - Ministry Center, 2nd Floor

Sunday School is a chance for children, grades 1 - 6, to worship God, learn basic Bible truths, and meet with children in their own grade level. We have a large group time and then divide into grade level classes. Each class has approximately 10 children meeting with a teacher to discuss the lesson of the day.

Wednesday Night Adventures with Pastor Chris Sixkiller
Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8 pm, Ministry Center, 2nd Floor
Wednesday Nights are fun filled nights for all kids, grades 1st thru 6th. We have a night full of exciting props, dramatizations, acting, games and what ever else it takes to make God’s Word real, relevant, and reachable.

Our Mission: Is to become all things to all kids so that many will come to know Jesus. 1 Cor. 9:22

Our Goal: To share Christ creatively, and to teach children that God has made them for a purpose and that purpose is for His use.

Over the next 6 weeks, we will be studying Prayer, from learning how to pray for the unsaved, praying with confidence, praying for the sick, and praying using God’s Word. At the end of these 6 weeks, your children will truly know how to P.U.S.H (Pray Until Something Happens).

This Spring is an exciting program called the “OUTLAW”, where our kids will learn what it is to be on God’s most wanted list. Followed by a country baptism. If your child, or yourself, would like to be baptized, please contact Pastor Paul or Pastor Chris.

Children’s New Missionary Books
Great reading for your child!! Check books out from the children's library area, Ministry Center, 2nd floor, on Sunday mornings. Remember to turn in your bookmark, with a parent signature, for a prize!! If your child doesn’t read? No problem. A parent or older sibling can read to them and still get credit. Please remember to turn in your bookmark, with a parent signature, at the Mission Booth for a prize.

World Mission Offering Cards for Kids
Our kids have an opportunity to be a part of our Mission’s Giving and Support by picking up a World Mission Offering card and filling it up with quarter. Return your filled card to the Mission’s Booth for a special prize. This is an on-going activity!
